Google in its “Doodle for Google” competition selected Robinson to represent South Carolina.

Robinson was chosen for her “Second Wonders of the World” artwork that she submitted to the 8–9 grade category. “I drew animals because there is so much biodiversity, which is frequently overlooked by most people. A national winner will be chosen by four judges based on aesthetic excellence, originality, and the “I am grateful for…” topic.

One of the five national finalists, from which the national champion will be chosen, will be selected with the input of the general public. The winning artist will have their work shown on the Google homepage for one day, get a $30,000 scholarship for college, and the winning school will get a $50,000 technology grant.

The competition invites young artists to express their unique viewpoints and demonstrate their ingenuity.

Each year, Google announces the competition’s subject, and contestants are required to create a Google logo, known as a “doodle,” that embodies the theme. Artwork, pictures, and even animations can be included in the doodle. The tournament is accessible to pupils of all school levels, and Google categorizes entrants based on their age or grade level.
