Who is Iren Byers?

The 20-year-old Iren Byers, who was detained in Mesa on Sunday, admitted to five separate shootings on Friday night. After going on a murderous shooting rampage that left several people dead throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, the Arizona guy surrendered himself.

For the murder spree, Byers is currently facing four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. According to a probable cause document, Byers frequently told investigators he felt “no remorse” for his victims and said he was driven by a hate of narcotics and drug users.

After executing a search warrant, Byers told police where they could find the clothing he had been wearing and the handgun he had been using during his crime spree. These items were later found at Byers’ home, according to the police.

According to investigators, Cox’s body was not found until after 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
