Harvey Weinstein, disgraced Hollywood mogul was found guilty of one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault but acquitted of a count of sexual battery after the trial against him concluded on Monday in Los Angeles.   

The victims in the Los Angeles trial were four women who identified in the courtroom as Jane Does. He was only found guilty of three counts related to the accuser known as Jane Doe 1, which were forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, and sexual penetration by a foreign object.

As for Jane Doe 2, the jury found that Weinstein was not guilty of sexual battery by restraint. The jury was unable to reach a verdict regarding the three other sexual assault counts involving women identified in the case as Jane Doe 3 and Jane Doe 4.

Although the identity of Jane Doe #4 was kept under wraps during the trial, it has been made public otherwise and it is California First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom, who is married to the state’s Governor Gavin Newsom.

Who is Jennifer Siebel Newsom? 

Jennifer Lynn Siebel was born in San Francisco and grew up in the suburb of Ross, California. After attending Ross Grammar School and The Branson School, she graduated with honors from Stanford University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American studies in 1996 and a Master of Business Administration in 2001.

Jennifer studied at the American Conservatory Theater, where she completed a certificate program while pursuing her MBA. She moved to Hollywood in 2002, where she concentrated on building her acting career.

She has appeared on such television shows as Life, Mad Men, Strong Medicine, and Numb3rs.

She also starred in Miss Representation which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. The film went on to screen at numerous other festivals, including the San Francisco International Film Festival, and Athena Film Festival. It won the Audience Award at the Palo Alto International Film Festival. 

In November 2022, Jennifer testified in court that Weinstein had raped her in a hotel room back in 2005 after having lured her there under the pretense of discussing film projects.
