Jeremy Albert Best, an Idaho father suspected of kidnapping his 10-month-old child after reportedly killing his wife, was brought to a hospital when it was discovered that he was roaming around a store in his underwear. 

The 48-year-old was last spotted on Thursday night, right before midnight, he is believed to be heavily armed and dangerous.

Who is Jeremy Albert Best?

Jeremy Albert Best is 48 years old. Zeke Gregory Best, age 10 months, is the toddler whom police believe Jeremy Albert Best snatched after killing his 38-year-old wife Kali Jean Randall at their Victor, Idaho, home. Randall’s unfortunate death occurred as she was expecting her second child, according to a relative.

Best is seen in naked form strolling through the Swan Valley General store about 24 hours before the kidnapping, according to surveillance footage.

After being found unconscious at her Idaho residence, Kali Jean Randall’s death is presently being investigated as a homicide.

Jeremy Albert Best was first recognized by Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office deputies when they arrived at the Swan Valley General store. According to reports, Best was assessed by emergency medical personnel outside the store and then taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center because of mental health issues. A spokesman verified that Best was released from the hospital on Thursday afternoon, even though the specifics of what happened there are still unknown.

When police arrived at the family’s home later that day, they discovered Randall was not breathing. Her death is being investigated as a homicide. Deputies were called in to deal with a disturbance over the dispatcher’s line, per a police statement.

At 4:30 a.m. on Friday, authorities released an amber warning for the couple’s child, stating that Best was last seen operating a black 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV bearing the Idaho license plate 1T39349.
