In response to the threat of a lawsuit from the owner of Twitter/X, Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), highlighted the increasing prevalence of anti-Semitism throughout the nation.
During an appearance on CNN Primetime with host Abby Phillip, Greenblatt conveyed, “Regarding Elon’s potential lawsuit against us, I can’t definitively ascertain his intentions. I’ve perused the same tweets that you have. However, what’s truly concerning is the surge in anti-Semitism across the country. We need to consider the broader perspective here. Anti-Jewish incidents have reached historic levels in the United States, marking the highest numbers we’ve recorded in over four decades of monitoring.”
