A man accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in Pasadena before allegedly strangling her to death has been arrested in a location outside of the state, as confirmed by the police.
The man has been identified as Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez. He has lately been named as a suspect in the terrible slaying of Maria Gonzalez. On Saturday, August 12, an 11-year-old Pasadena girl named Maria was found strangled and the victim of a terrible assault under her bed.

Who is Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez?
Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez is 18 years old. He is a Guatemalan immigrant. The Shreveport Louisiana Police Department’s capture of Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez was officially announced on Saturday. He is currently awaiting extradition in connection with the case back to Texas.
When a key was recovered close to the spot where the remains of 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez were located at an apartment building in Pasadena, it marked a critical turning point in the investigation. The 18-year-old suspect, who had been listed as a person of interest on Friday, was identified by the police thanks in large part to this key, which provided the vital missing piece.

Six days after Maria Gonzalez’s father tragically discovered her murdered beneath a bed the week before, the Pasadena Police Department made this new information public. A key was discovered during the scene investigation, according to Chief Josh Bruegger. Notably, while not being able to unlock the door to the girl’s apartment where the horrific incident took place, this key was essential to moving the case forward.

The Main Village Apartments are located at 1004 Main Street, and the police used the key to try to match it with the doors to several units there. The link between Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez and the key was not immediately explained by Chief Josh Bruegger, although he did say that the key opened an apartment where the suspect was suspected to be living. Furthermore, there were two other people living in this apartment.
