A suspect has been identified in connection to the shooting of a deputy in Garvin County on Wednesday, as confirmed by police officials.

The suspect has been identified as Kameron Jenkins. The deputy hurt in a shooting on Wednesday morning in Garvin County has been named as Sean Steadman of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office. 

Due to the event, a Blue Alert was issued, and the area around Wynnewood was searched for the culprit. The sheriff’s office reported that Deputy Steadman’s status is stable and that a full recovery is expected of him.

Who is Kameron Jenkins?

Kameron Jenkins is 25 years old. Jenkins is described as being 6 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighing around 170 pounds in the Blue Alert. He had on a white shirt when last seen. It is highlighted that Jenkins should be regarded as dangerous and armed.

The precise circumstances surrounding the incident are yet unknown. The investigation has been turned over to the OSBI, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The OSBI has named the suspect in the shooting as 25-year-old Kameron Jenkins, and authorities are actively searching for him. Steadman has been transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Steadman is reported to be in stable and good condition.
