Keith Melvin Moses has been identified as the suspect in the fatal shooting of a Spectrum News 13 reporter and photographer in Pine Hills, Orlando.

The shooting in Central Florida on Wednesday left two members of a television news organization injured, one of them fatally, according to authorities. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported that a reporter and photographer working for Spectrum News 13 had responded to a fatal shooting that had occurred earlier that day in the Pine Hills area, located near Orlando.

Sheriff John Mina provided an update on the situation during an evening press conference, revealing that both the reporter and photographer had been shot. Tragically, one of the two lost their lives as a result of the incident. Mina did not disclose the identities of the victims or provide any details on their condition.

In addition to the shooting that claimed the life of a reporter for Spectrum News 13, a woman and a 9-year-old girl were also shot in a nearby home. Sadly, the child passed away from her injuries. According to Orange County Sheriff John Mina, it is still unclear why the shooter entered the home.

19-year-old Keith Melvin Moses has an extensive criminal record. Mina did not reveal whether Moses had any connection to the media organization or if he was specifically targeting them.
