Cash App founder Bob Lee allegedly used to participate in underground sex and drug parties with the elites of San Francisco, which included the sister of his alleged killer. Lee, aged 43 and a father of two, allegedly enjoyed the city’s underground party scene accompanied bu Khazar Momeni, wife of a prominent plastic surgeon and sister of Nima Momeni.

People who were familiar with the group reported that Khazar, 37, and Lee were sharing a bed. Many people worried that Khazar had developed a risky lifestyle by associating with the wrong people.

Prosecutors said Nima confronted Lee about the heavy partying and his sister’s participation in them, which was followed by an altercation breaking out in the early hours of April 4 and resulted in Lee being stabbed numerous times.

The alleged murderer, Nima Momeni, was known to use narcotics himself but wasn’t considered to be a member of the elite group. He operated an IT consulting business out of a live-work apartment in Emeryville, San Francisco.

Prosecutors claim that on April 3, while both men were at a home party, Nima confronted Lee and asked if he and his sister were “doing drugs or anything inappropriate.” The San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s office released an autopsy report that showed Lee had cocaine and ketamine in his system at the time of his death.

According to court records, Khazar texted Lee to see how he was doing around the time of his murder.“Just wanted to make sure your doing ok Cause I know nima came wayyyyyy down hard on you. And thank you for being such a class man handling it with class. Love you Selfish pricks,” she had written.

Nima was arrested April 13 and charged with murder. If convicted, he faces 26 years to life in prison.
