Donald Trump is in far more jeopardy than anyone could have expected in his classified materials case, with CNN airing an audio discussion in which he gave confidential info he never declassified to people who had no business accessing it. The 45th President was recorded casually speaking with his advisers about “highly confidential” materials during a July 2021 meeting in Bedminster, New Jersey.
The gathering was supposed to center on a writer in the room working on a memoir about Trump’s former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, but it swiftly devolved into a debate about Defense Department General Mark Milley’s secret strategy against Iran.
