Adam Klotz is a meteorologist and weatherman for FOX News Channel. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and is currently based in New York City. He joined the network in 2017 after serving as a weekend meteorologist and multimedia journalist for FOX 5 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 37-year-old described his experience through several social media stories claiming that he was going home on a train after watching the New York Giants NFL playoff game at a bar when he saw an older gentleman being hassled by a group of seven or eight teens.  When he tried to stop them, the teens instead beat him up. “They had me on the ground. Police sources said the Klotz was on a No. 1 train around 1:15 a.m. when he confronted the teens who were reportedly smoking weed at the time too. According to Klotz, he encountered a group of seven to eight teenagers who were smoking marijuana on the train and were trying to set an older man’s hair on fire using a lighter. He also claimed that none of the other people on the train tried to help him.

The suspects fled the train at the 18th Street station after the assault, however, three of them, two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old, were captured by cops, sources said. However, they were released without being charged. Klotz was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Bellevue Hospital.
