Michael Knowles, the host of The Michael Knowles Show on The Daily Wire, spoke at the 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), held at a suburban Washington, D.C., against transgenderism and parents providing minors with gender-affirming care.
His speech, which almost sounded genocidal, was applauded by the conservative crowd present at the event. “The problem with transgenderism is not that it’s inappropriate for children under the age of 9,” he said. “The problem with transgenderism is that it isn’t true.”

“If [transgenderism] is false, then for the good of society… transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely,” he said. There are an estimated 1.6 million trans people in the United States right now. It went viral on Twitter where he was heavily criticized for his stance against transgenrism.

MY MISTAKE! That was a quote from the GOP calling for the eradication of transgenderism at CPAC.… https://t.co/6RD4GUUI09 pic.twitter.com/HxdBBLQipX

Let's not play a semantics game. "We need to eradicate transgenderism from society" is the same as saying "we need to eradicate trans people from society"
Why? Because the only people who "have transgenderism" are trans people. They know this.
This is genocide speak.

Who is Michael Knowles?
Before becoming a conservative pundit, Michael Knowles aspired to become an actor. He studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He also graduated from Yale University with a degree in history and Italian. He has starred in a few short films and series including Survive, Triangle, and House of Shades.
He got interested in the Republican Party after former President Donald Trump’s win in 2016. Since then, he has made an array of controversial comments including calling Greta Thunberg a mentally ill child and making derogatory remarks towards former president Barack Obama.

He is the author of Reasons to Vote for Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide, which was released in 2017. The parody book which contained 266 pages was entirely empty as a means to mock the liberals. Trump and other conservatives praised the book at that time.
He has raised eyebrows over his stance on transgender people before his viral comments on CPAC. Knowles has said on his show: “One, I don’t know how you can have a genocide of transgender people because genocide refers to genes, it refers to genetics, it refers to biology and the whole point of transgenderism is that it has nothing to do with biology… transgender people is not a real ontological category. It is not a legitimate category of being.”
