Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings, was allegedly forced to pay $10 million to President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, according to a bombshell FBI informant file released Thursday by Sen. Chuck Grassley.
“What did the Justice Department and FBI do with the detailed information in the document? And why have they tried to conceal it from Congress and the American people for so long?” Grassley said in a statement while making the documents public.

It is important to note that Burisma added Hunter to its board in April 2014, as his dad was serving as the Vice President in the Obama administration and was handed the responsibility to oversee the Ukraine policy. the timeline of when the alleged payments could have been made is not yet clear at the moment. Around the same time, Hunter’s partner, Devon Archer also joined the same board.
Who is Mykola Zlochevsky?
Mykola Zlochevsky is the owner of Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings. Back in 2015 or early 2016, he spoke to an FBI informant and told him that during a meeting near Kyiv “it cost 5 [million] to pay one Biden, and 5 [million] to another Biden.” The details are in the redacted FD-1023 form.
“Zlochevsky made some comment that although Hunter Biden ‘was stupid, and his (Zlochevsky’s) dog was smarter,’ Zlochevsky needed to keep Hunter Biden (on Burisma’s board) ‘so everything will be okay,’” the document says, according to New York Post. the informant then inquired whether Joe or Hunter Biden had told Zlochevsky he should “retain” the younger Biden. It is not clear for what job was the retaining request for. Zlochevsky replied, “They both did.”
A source also told investigators that Zlochevsky claimed to have 17 recordings of conversations he had over a course of time with the Bidens. Based on those recordings and other evidence, the source said that Zlochevsky was convinced he was “somehow coerced into paying the Bidens to ensure Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was fired.”
At the time, Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings, and Hunter was reportedly drawing thousands of dollars per month for his highly lucrative role in the company. Joe Biden had also allegedly insisted that US will withhold $1 billion of critical aid if Shokin was not fired.
