Who is Quinn Gallagher?
To start off with, Quinn Gallagher is a Democrat. According to social media posts, Gallagher co-owns the Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, which in January staged “a winter Wonderland Burlesque & Drag Show.” According to a Facebook post at the time, Aspen Gay Ski Week hosted “an evening of cocktails, appetizers, and laughs” at Hooch in January 2020.
Boebert, meanwhile has established her image in her political party as one of the most anti-LGBT members of Congress. She has also been one of the toughest critics of children being exposed to drag entertainment. “Take your children to CHURCH, not drag bars,” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, in June 2022.
She has also reportedly slammed the use of drag queens for military recruiting. “Do our military leaders understand that China and Russia see this stuff and prepare accordingly? We need a non-woke military. Better yet, an anti-woke military,” she said in May. “I’m a Christian. So they may try to drive me to my knees, but that’s where I’m the strongest,” she declared in a separate post.

The fact that Boebert will choose to date a Democrat who owns a business that hosts drag shows has been mocked by many online. “And definitely don’t take [kids] to see Beetlejuice (especially when you are in the audience),” Democratic National Committee boss Jaime Harrison said.
Star Trek actor George Takei commented, “Rep. Lauren Boebert, who urged parents to take their kids to CHURCH not DRAG SHOWS, was caught in a public performance of Beetlejuice, a children’s show, groping and getting groped by her date. I’ve had it with their hypocritical moralizing. They have no standing to judge or constrain ANYONE else’s private life.”
