Owing to Donald Trump‘s licensing agreement, which emblazoned his name on the beachside building, the trio of Trump Towers on Sunny Isles Beach attracts its fair share of curious onlookers. But on Thursday, law enforcement, specifically the Federal Bureau of Investigation, became interested in the opulent high-rise complex. The FBI raided a condo owned by Russian oligarchs Agunda Konstantinovna Makeeva and Oleg Sergeyevich Patsulya. The latter is the husband of Roza Pereira.
Who is Roza Pereira?
Roza Pereira is the wife of Oleg Sergeyevich Patsulya, one of the Russian businessmen who manage the condo at Trump Towers III.
In order to conduct a search of unit 4102, a group of FBI special agents and neighborhood police entered Trump Tower III at 15811 Collins Ave.
According to state corporate records, it is owned by a front company called MIC-USA LLC that is under the management of the two Russian businessmen.
According to state records of the business filings, Pereira is also listed under the company MIC-USA LLC.
Speaking to the Miami Herald, Roza Pereira said she will not be able to divulge information regarding the alleged raid.
“I can’t talk about it,” she told the Miami Herald.
“The lawyer [for my husband] said not to talk to anyone. … I have no idea what it’s about,” she added.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom house was bought by MIC-USA ten years ago for $1.65 million.
An FBI Miami field office spokesperson told the Miami Herald that the agency “was conducting court-ordered law enforcement activity in the vicinity of that location,” but provided no other specifics.
Oleg Sergeyevich Patsulya and Agunda Konstantinovna Makeeva did not provide any other information.
