Stan Lane, a former pro wrestler who spend decades defending himself against attacks from the mother of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) over child support, has recently passed a DNA test proving that he is not the biological father of the congresswoman.
Boebert confirmed the news to the Daily Beast. She said that she and Lane both took DNA tests in the past month and it proved that there was a 0% chance that he was her father.
“I can confirm that Stan Lane is not my biological father. I personally have never publicly claimed he was my father — but certainly, that allegation is out there,” Boebert told The Daily Beast. “The Toby Keith song, ‘Who’s Your Daddy’ hits a bit differently now.”

The former wrestler also responded to the news by calling out Boebert’s mom, declaring, “This situation and the numerous false claims made against me over the years has been stressful for me and my family. I feel that my otherwise good reputation has been tarnished considerably. I and other close members of my inner circle have been dragged into this as well.”
Boebert said all the parties involved in the situation have agreed to the results. “It was kind of like ya, this is it, OK!” she said. “He has been wrongfully attacked, and he doesn’t deserve that.”

Lane held championships including the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship, NWA United States Tag Team Championship, NWA World Tag Team Championship, and SMW Tag Team Championship.
Lane married Maria Burnette on June 30, 2007.

After Boebert was born, her mother sought child support from him. “We went through the legal system and completed a court-ordered paternity test,” he added. “I was declared not to be the father and the case was dismissed.”
Bentz continued to accuse him of not paying child support after Boebert was elected to Congress. He agreed in May to take another test.
“The results came back on May 11, 2023. They were conclusive that I had a 0.0% chance of being the biological father,” Lane added. “Once we both reviewed the results Lauren and I agreed that this matter is settled, and I accepted Lauren’s apology on behalf of herself and her mother.”
Lane added that “it is my desire to step back and enjoy my retirement with my wife.”
