The Missouri Highway Patrol has issued a Blue Alert for Thomas Varvera, following a shooting incident in Lincoln County on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred in Troy, where Thomas Varvera, Jr. reportedly fired shots at officers, resulting in one officer being struck by gunfire. As of now, investigators have not disclosed the condition of the injured officer.

Thomas Varvera Jr. is 55 years old. As reported by police officials, he is a 5-foot-8, 210-pound white man with brown hair.
The Missouri Highway Patrol (MSHP) has reported that after shooting at the police, Thomas Varvera, Jr. set his own home on fire and fled the scene on foot. It is currently unclear whether he is still armed.
