Vickie Williams appeared in court via Zoom call on Saturday
and wasn’t given any bond.

Williams has been charged with grand theft of a motor
vehicle and two counts of first-degree murder of Darryl Getman and Shannon
Getman.

Who is Vickie Williams?

Vickie Wiliams, a 50-year-old Georgia woman is charged with the
murders of an elderly couple, Darryl Getman and Sharon Getman along with a motor
vehicle’s grand theft. The couple was found dead inside their apartment on
December 31 at the Waterman Village senior living complex in Florida’s Mount
Dora.

Vickie Williams was suspected of their murder after she was
found to be in the couple’s green-colored Kia car parked in Savannah’s Amtrak parking
lot. She was then taken for questioning where she said that a friend named
Fuller Blue gave her the car.

Williams’ fingerprints also matched the ones in Getman’s
house.

Although when asked about her whereabouts, Williams said
that she was in Savannah, police’s investigation indicates that the Kia car was
caught on Saturday at 2 a.m. which was 14 hours before the bodies of the
Getmans were found. According to the police, she allegedly knocked on a resident’s
door before 11 p.m. asking to take a shower and went off with a set of keys.

During a press conference, Mount
Dora Interim Police Chief Mike Gibson said that Williams “dressed in a
particular way,” on the December 30’s afternoon and was escorted by security
out of the Waterman Village complex.

After an online court hearing on Saturday, Williams is now
due for an arraignment in court on January 30, 2023.
