Jesse Sainz-Camacho, 17, was kidnapped from his Arizona home on Monday, December 19. Two unknown armed suspects raided the teenager’s Arizona home at around 3:18 am and abducted him.

On Wednesday, December 29, his remains were found in a rural area of Maricopa County, Phoenix Police said.

The homicide department of Arizona police is currently leading the investigation into the incident.

A reward of $1,000 was also announced for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspects.

Who was Jesse Sainz-Camacho?

Jesse Sainz-Camacho was a 17-year-old from Phoenix, Arizona.

Phoenix Police Department spokesperson Sergent Phil Krynsky said that two men “forced their way into the home” and shot a man who was asleep, before kidnapping the teen.

They forced him into a dark-colored sedan which then sped off in an unknown direction.

Authorities said that the suspects had a handgun and a rifle on them. The shooting victim, who the police did not identify, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

Police are looking for two suspects in the crime but have not yet made any arrests.

In the midst of the inquiry, local authorities have also made available photos of one of the suspects, who is shown with a gun.
