A 28-year-old man, who is identified as Ruben Armendariz, shot his estranged wife and three young children to death on Wednesday before turning the gun on himself, according to the Oklahoma City police.

The 28-year-old man gunned down his wife Cassie Flores, 29, at her residence in Oklahoma City. After which he shot their children – Hillary, 9, Damaris, 5, and Matis, 2. The man eventually shot himself after the massacre reportedly at 11 p.m.

Who was Ruben Armendariz?

Ruben Armendariz was 28 years old. He was married to Cassie Flores. But the couple got separated.

After the incident was reported, When first responders arrived at the scene quickly, they found five injured people. After being taken to the hospital in a hurry, Armendariz and one of the kids were tragically declared dead. Though, it is still not clear if Armendariz was living with his split family at the time of the tragedy.

Law enforcement officers have confirmed that there were no records of their attending any domestic disputes at the home before the terrible incident.

Armendariz’s only prior past was a traffic offense from 2020 when he was found guilty of operating a vehicle without a license.

Authorities are diligently looking into the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate killings. They stated in a formal statement that “this probe is still in its early stages. The events that led up to this unfortunate catastrophe are being meticulously reconstructed by our detectives.

There have been a ton of tributes sent to the mother and her three kids. The family’s anguish has been voiced, and they have called the circumstances a “nightmare.”

Cassie Flores’ sister, Rocio, posted pictures of her loved ones on social media along with the sincere statement: “‘I can’t believe this. My babies and my sister. They are all gone this feels like such a nightmare. I didn’t get to say goodbye to them, and I feel such a guilt in my heart that I can’t stand. God is with us and he will never leave our side. Fly high my babies fly high my beautiful angels,” as reported by Daily Mail.
