Zindell Brown is one of the Americans who was kidnapped in Matamoros, Mexico. His sister Zalayna Grant wrote on Facebook that her brother has been found alive and is ‘coming home’.

Latavia McGee, Shaeed Woodard, Zindell Brown and Eric James Williams were identified as the four US citizens were taken hostage in Mexico. Two of them were killed, Americo Villarreal, the governor of Tamaulipas, confirmed Tuesday. He added that the other two were sent back to the US.

“MY BROTHER IS STILL ALIVE AND HE’S COMING HOME!! I STILL HAVE STRONG FAITH!! I’M KEEPING THE FAITH!!” Zindell Brown’s sister Zalayna wrote.

Christina Hickson, Zindell’s mother, and Zalayna Grant, as per WPDE, reached out to the FBI who confirmed their 28-year-old family member was missing. Brown Grant’s younger brother.

“Good morning!! I first want to thank everyone who is genuinely concerned!! But I’m not in a space for the negative stuff!! I’m not really in the mood to talk!! So please don’t message me saying that my brother is dead or asking what happened!! Just pray 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Thank you!!” the sister had then written on Facebook.

“Y’all ignore my sister’s posts!! Nothing has been confirmed that they are dead!! And until it’s confirmed, I’m still keeping a positive mind and TRUSTING GOD!!”

She had also started a gofundme campaign to bring her brother back. It is now deleted.

Zalandria Brown also said her Zindell lives in Myrtle Beach, and two of his friends accompanied a third friend who planned to visit Mexico for a tummy tuck surgery.

On Friday, the group of four friends traveled in a white minivan with North Carolina license plates from Brownsville, Texas province, into the Mexican city of Matamoros, located in Tamaulipas state, where the vehicle came under fire by heavily armed men, the FBI confirmed in a statement Sunday.
