Senior actor Dalip Tahil, who has so far made news for his impactful roles in over 100 Bollywood films including ‘Baazigar’, and ‘Raja’, is making headlines again but this time for his personal life. His son Dhruv has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case and will be produced in court today.
The 68-year-old actor is known for starring as Madan Kumar in the A.R Rahman theatre musical ‘Bombay Dreams', which he performed in over 500 shows through 2002, at the Apollo Theatre in London. He also played the role of Dan Ferreira, in the BBC1 soap opera ‘EastEnders’ in 2003, appearing in over 60 episodes.
In Bollywood, he has majorly played negative and supporting roles from the 1980s to 2013. His famous roles include Madan Chopra in Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer 'Baazigar'.
He is also a familiar face on the Indian small screen as he played roles in Sanjay Khan's television serial ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’ and Ramesh Sippy's ‘Buniyaad’.
He also played the role of King Dasaratha in the Indian television series, ‘Siya Ke Ram'.
