Kelly Ripa is the popular co-host of ABC's morning talk show 'Live with Kelly and Ryan'. She had earlier appeared on the ABC daytime drama 'All My Children’ before she started working as a TV show host.

Born on October 2, 1970, in Stratford, New Jersey, Kelly Ripa received training in Ballet at 3 and later went on to appear as a dancer on Dance Party USA at the age of 19. Before she landed her first gig as Hayley Santos on the ABC daytime drama All My Children in 1990, she performed in local theatre productions. In fact, such was her proficiency in acting that she ended up being nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the role in both 1993 and 1999.

In February 2001 she replaced Kathie Lee Gifford and joined Regis Philbin for ABC's morning talk show Live! with Regis and Kelly. After Philbin’s retirement in 2011, she took over the hosting duties and had several others join her as co-host from time to time. Finally, Live! won its first Emmy in June 2012 and saw former football star Michael Strahan join Ripa, having the name of the show changed to ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’.

Kelly Ripa is married to actor Mark Consuelos, who is popularly known for playing Hiram Lodge in Riverdale. The duo has three children and own production company called Milojo together.

The couple recently dropped their youngest son Joaquin off to college. Kelly posted a photograph of her and Mark together nesting alone at home, now that all their kids are away for education or work. She had earlier told Entertainment Tonight in 2019 how she would spend her time at home when the kids were all gone. "I'm truly going to be running through the house naked. I just want everybody to know that. I'm going to be sitting on every piece of furniture naked. Be warned before you come over. That's what I'll be doing in my spare time."
