Mithila Palkar is an Indian actor who made her debut in the world of acting in 2014 with a Marathi short film Majha Honeymoon. She is known for her roles in the Netflix original ‘Little Things’ and TV series ‘Girl in the City’. 

Palkar got her first chance in Bollywood with Nikhil Advani's Katti Batti and later she played the lead role in the 2018 movie Karwaan opposite late Irrfan Khan and Dulquer Salmaan. 

She was born on January 11, 1993 in Vasai to a Marathi family. Palkar comes from a family of no actors and her grandfather didn't approve of her career. She chose to do a Bachelors degree in Mass Media from MMK college in Bandra.

Her breakthrough in the acting industry was after she got the role of Imran Khan's sister in the movie Katti Batti, the movie did not end up well in the box office but it raised a lot of appreciation for her and got her advertisements from Tata, Maggi and Zomato.

Forbes India listed the actor in Forbes 30 Under 30, a list of young achievers, in 2018. She has won various awards, including Filmfare OTT award 2020 for Best actor (female) and Critics' Choice Shorts and Series Awards 2019.
