She once revealed the reason behind her name Pony. In an interview with New Indian Express, she said that she was a premature baby and had lot of wrinkles on her body. When the nurses took her to her mother, she said that her body resembled a 'pona' and her aunt named her Pony. In Punjabi, the cloth used to make chapattis in the kitchen is called 'pona'.
Prakash Raj was earlier married to Lalitha Kumari and has two daughters with her-Meghana and Pooja.
Prakash Raj is best known for his work in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil movies. He is also a producer and director. In Bollywood, Prakash Raj has starred in films such as Khakee, Wanted, Singham, Dabangg 2, among others.
Earlier this month, he suffered a "tiny fracture" and underwent a surgery in Hyderabad. He shared about the surgery on Instagram and wrote that the surgery was successful.
