Recently, Hardik Pandya got named the Indian team caption for a T20I series that is supposed to be held in Ireland. For the match this month, seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been appointed as his deputy. Pandya, who plays for Maharashtra (Mumbai Indians), has been playing astonishingly over the past few years in IPL seasons. This year, he played for the Gujrat Titans and led the team, making the team win for this season. He scored 487 runs in 15 games at 44.27 and picked a total of 8 wickets.
On Wednesday, the BCCI made the announcement that Hardik Pandya will be Indian team caption for T20I series in Ireland.
On June 26 and 28 Indian team will play two T20Is in Dublin. VVS Laxman, Chairman, National Cricket Academy, will be the head coach of the side during the two-match tour. NCA Coach Sitanshu Kotak (batting coach) along with Sairaj Bahutule (bowling coach) will accompany him.
