OnePlus is a Chinese electronics company headquartered in the city of Shenzhen. It was founded in December 2013 by Pete Lau and Carl Pei. At present, it is majority-owned by Oppo, which is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics and is OnePlus’ only shareholder. The tagline of OnePlus is “Never Settle”.
OnePlus is best known for manufacturing smartphones. It operates globally, in more than 34 countries including India. In India, its mobile devices are assembled in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The company’s latest phone, the OnePlus Nord 2T, will be launching next month in the country. The device will consist of a 50MP camera, MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and 80W fast charging. While its price has not been revealed yet, it could be similar to or slightly higher than Nord 2, which starts at Rs 27,999.
According to reports, a OnePlus Nord Watch is also in the works. The company already has earbuds in its Nord ecosystem. The devices are available at a price of Rs 2,799.
