John Lennon’s death, visitors and fans from all over the world gather at the
memorial to pay homage to the legacy of Beatles. The memorial is lined with
tall elm trees, shrubs, flowers and rocks, and this area is designated as a
quiet zone in Central Park. A plaque is
embedded in one of the boulders along the pathway leading to the mosaic, and it
lists the 121 countries that endorse Strawberry Fields as a Garden of Peace.
