Ariana Grande on Friday released her sixth album titled “Positions”, her first in over a year and a half. The pop star’s last big release was “K Bye for Now” (SWT Live), which came out after her Sweetener World Tour in December 2019.

Grande made the announcement on Twitter. 

Earlier she released the full album list on Twitter and said that this project was very close to her heart. She also shared a snippet of the title music video.

Earlier this year, Grande and fellow pop star Justin Bieber had won MTV’s Video Music Award for the Best Music Video From Home. The 27-year-old was awarded for her song “Stuck With You”.

Prior to that, Grande and Victoria Monét teamed up on “Monopoly” last spring, and Grande co-wrote Normani’s debut solo single “Motivation”,which arrived a few months later. After taking the executive producer chair on the soundtrack for last year’s reboot of Charlie’s Angels,she remixed Lizzo’s hit “Good As Hell”.Grande also appeared as Piccola Grande, the Pickle Fairy of Hope on an episode of Jim Carrey’s Showtime comedy-drama “Kidding”.
