Despero is at the heart of The Flash’s five-part “Armageddon” crossover event in Season 8.

The DC villain is shown as a pretty human-looking guy in the newly released photographs which had the fans wondering if Despero even looks like his comic-counterpart in the images.

Addressing those concerns, showrunner Eric Wallac cautioned against assuming The Flash’s Despero won’t be comic-accurate in terms of his appearance, based on these photos.

“Be careful what you see. Your eyes can sometimes deceive you,” Wallace told EW.
