The BBC presenter who is suspected of paying a minor for sexually graphic pictures reportedly called them after the initial claims on Friday surfaced.

The purported nameless celebrity, who was fired by the BBC on Sunday, allegedly called the then-19-year-old subject and said, “What have you done?”

The now-20-year-old was reportedly urged by the male presenter last week to “stop the investigation” after it was revealed that the BBC was informed of the claims in May.

An anonymous male BBC employee was reportedly suspended on Sunday as a result of claims that the presenter had paid a kid to produce sexually graphic photos.

The teen’s mother alleges that her son received more than £35,000 for sexually graphic images. Additionally, she claims that her child used the funds to support a crack cocaine addiction and accuses the host of “destroying her child’s life” by doing so.

The BBC star allegedly called the young person who is said to have sent the presenter photographs last week, asking them to convince their mother to “stop the investigation,” according to a report in The Sun.

Additionally, the newspaper cites BBC insiders who state: “The BBC has started to receive calls from the public about the behavior of the person at the center of the investigation.”

The BBC has contacted them, the Metropolitan Police acknowledged on Sunday night, but no formal allegations have been made.

It was initially reported the BBC initially had been in contact with the police regarding the presenter. The force confirmed: “The Met has received initial contact from the BBC in relation to this matter, but no formal referral or allegation has been made. We will require additional information before determining what further action should follow.”
