Actor%20Sanjay%20Dutt%2C%20on%20Wednesday%2C%20took%20to%20Twitter%20to%20announce%20that%20he%20has%20been%20granted%20the%20UAE%20Golden%20Visa.%20The%20UAE%20government%20had%20announced%20in%202019%20a%20new%20system%20for%20long-term%20visa%20applicants%20which%20allowed%20foreigners%20to%20live%20in%20the%20nation%20without%20a%20national%20sponsor.

In%20his%20tweet%2C%20Dutt%20thanked%20the%20UAE%20government%20for%20the%20honor.%20%u201CHonoured%20to%20have%20received%20a%20golden%20visa%20for%20the%20UAE%20in%20the%20presence%20of%20Major%20General%20Mohammed%20Al%20Marri%u201D%2C%20said%20the%2061-year-old%20actor.

UAE%u2019s%20golden%20visas%20are%20issued%20for%205%20or%2010%20years.

According%20to%20reports%2C%20the%2010-year%20golden%20visa%20for%20professionals%20was%20approved%20by%20Sheikh%20Mohammed%20Bin%20Rashid%20Al%20Maktoum%2C%20Vice%20President%20and%20Prime%20Minister%20of%20the%20UAE%20to%20accumulate%20wealth%20in%20the%20form%20of%20great%20minds%20and%20talented%20people%20that%20would%20further%20help%20in%20the%20nation%u2019s%20growth.

Dutt%20is%20battling%20third%20stage%20lung%20cancer%20and%20is%20currently%20with%20his%20wife%20Maanayata%20and%20children%20Shahraan%20and%20Iqra%20in%20Duba.

Sanjay%20Dutt%20was%20last%20seen%20in%20Toorbaz%2C%20a%20Hindi%20language%20action%20thriller%20on%20Netflix%20in%20December.
