BTS band member Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V, has been released from quarantine after recuperating from Covid-19, according to a statement released by the Korean band’s agency on Tuesday.

“We would like to inform you that BTS member V has made a full recovery from Covid-19 and his quarantine has concluded as of today, February 22. V has been receiving treatment from home from Tuesday the 15th, and he is now able to return to his daily activities,” read the statement.

It added, “V did not exhibit any particular symptoms during his quarantine. He had a slight fever when he first began treatment at home, but has made a full recovery. We would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have shown concern for the artist’s health as well as those in the medical field who are doing their best to overcome Covid-19.”

With the news coming as a relief for fans of the band known as ARMY, V expressed his gratitude and stated, “Thanks for the concern, I’m fully recovered because of you guys. You’re sweet to worry, have a good day.”

After a long period of absence from the public eye, the seven-member band is set for their upcoming music concert in Seoul, South Korea. The concert, titled ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’,  is scheduled to begin on March 10, with the band performing in front of a live audience after more than two years.

Earlier this week, a statement by Big Hit Music, the band’s agency, read, “Hello. This is BIG HIT MUSIC. BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-SEOUL, a performance for BTS and ARMY to dance together, will be held both in-person and as an online live streaming event. Join us as BTS and ARMY become one once again with music and dance! We don’t need permission to dance.”
