During a pre-match press conference football star Cristiano Ronaldo Duringremoved two Coca-Cola bottles from the table where he was seated at. After removing the soft drink bottles, he picked up a water bottle, pointing towards it and gesticulated to the others in the room.

This action of his caused the soft-drinks company’s share to fall. According to Marca, “Coca-Cola shares dropped from $56.10 dollars to $55.22 dollars almost immediately after Ronaldo’s gesture, meaning the company’s value fell from $242 billion dollars to $238 billion dollars.”

The Portugal talisman has been a strong advocate for healthy living and always encourages budding footballers and athletes to take up a healthy living.

This is not the first time Ronaldo has spoken against fast foods. During one of his interviews, he had said that he doesn’t like his son drinking fizzy drinks or eating chips.

“Occasionally my son drinks Coca-Cola or Fanta and eats crisps and he knows I don’t like that,” Ronaldo had said.
