The CCTV footage that emerged showed that the car was moving in a narrow lane when it hit the woman. As the woman, knocked down by the vehicle, fell to the ground, passers-by ran to her rescue.
The narrow lane was effectively left even narrower by a scooter that was parked perpendicular to the pavement at the point where the car hit the woman.
As the passers-by were trying to pull her up, the vehicle began moving again, running over her. Without bothering what happened to the victim, the driver sped off.
