People on social media claimed that the clip was accidentally shot and that the unidentified man was never meant to be seen. The rumor went viral because recently speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Zelensky suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin might already be dead and using a body double to run the country and take decisions.
“I don’t quite understand who to talk to and about what,” he said. “I’m not sure that the Russian president – who sometimes appears against a green screen – is actually the right one. I don’t quite understand if he is alive or whether he makes decisions, or who makes decisions there.” He added: “I just don’t quite understand who we are dealing with.”

The Kremlin has said that their leader “does and will exist” hitting back at the Ukrainian’s comments about Putin. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “It is clear that both Russia and Putin are a big problem for Ukraine and for Zelensky. And it is clear that purely psychologically, Mr. Zelensky would prefer that neither Russia nor Putin existed.”
