Former President Donald Trump sent out Easter greetings, saying “Happy Easter to all including the Radical Left Maniacs who are doing everything possible to destroy our Country”, and continued, “May they not succeed, but let them, nevertheless, be happy, healthy, wealthy, and well!”
Trump, who has been banned from Twitter after his posts pertaining to the January 6 Capitol Hill riots, prepared a statement, which was tweeted by his spokesperson Liz Harrington.
The Republican also attacked New York attorney general, Letitia James, whose office is investigating Trump’s financial dealings.
His statement reads, “Happy Easter to failed gubernatorial candidate and racist Attorney General Letitia James. May she remain healthy despite the fact that she will continue to drive business out of New York while at the same time keeping crime, death, and destruction in New York”.

James recently filed to have Trump held in contempt of court for refusing to turn over documents.
The former president is embattled on numerous fronts as he has the Jan 6 panel breathing down his neck, subpoenaing his family as well.
Trump’s wish has been seen by many Twitter users as bitter and not keeping with the spirit of the holiday, many even calling out the un-Christian nature of his action.
Meanwhile, current president Joe Biden also sent out his wishes for Easter on Twitter, saying “As we reflect today on Christ’s Resurrection, we are reminded that with faith, hope, and love — even death can be defeated,” the president tweeted. “From our family to yours, we wish you hope, health, joy, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding. Happy Easter and may God bless and keep you”.

This isn’t the first time Trump has used a holiday to lash out at enemies.
On New Year’s eve in 2017, Trump had written on Twitter, “As our Country rapidly grows stronger and smarter, I want to wish all of my friends, supporters, enemies, haters, and even the very dishonest Fake News Media, a Happy and Healthy New Year.”
