Doctor Strange in the ‘Multiverse of Madness’ is being highly anticipated by Marvel fans. The film, which will be released on May 6, is a sequel to the 2016 film Doctor Strange and the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s 28th instalment (MCU).

Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Stephen Strange, with Elizabeth Olsen, who will reprise her role as Scarlet Witch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams in the film, which has already been delayed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The movie was supposed to be out in May of last year.

Doctor Strange in the ‘Multiverse of Madness’ will see the MCU superhero journey across several universes as he deals with the consequences of his decision to meddle in Peter Parker’s life, as well as how the sorcerer will alter in this film.

According to Screenrant, the filmmaker said that he has matured over the course of the Avengers films, saying, “I’ve seen. I think at the beginning of this film, he starts as a very self-assured – perhaps too much so – person who feels he’s the one that’s best in control of all the decisions. It’s safest that way. He has the most faith in himself, and not so much in other people. And I think in this picture, this little chapter in his life, he learns to let go a little bit. That it’s not all about him [and] that he can trust others.”

Bruce Campbell, who has a minor role in Marvel’s next film, recently stated that the film’s late reshoots are due to Marvel Studios’ ongoing narrative updates. This is happening, according to the actor, because many Marvel Cinematic Universe projects are under development at the same time.
