‘Flash’ star Ezra Miller was arrested by law enforcement in Hilo, Hawaii, on Monday morning, and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, following an incident at a bar.

The Hawai’i County Police Department posted that South Hilo officers responded to a report, at 11:30 PM Sunday evening, that a bar patron was being disorderly. As per law enforcement, the patron had begun being unruly while others were singing karaoke and had resorted to shouting obscenities. They note that the patron also grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke, and later lunged at a 32-year-old man who was playing darts.

Miller, who will next be seen in the ‘Harry Potter‘ spin-off ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore‘, was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. His bail was set at $500, which the actor paid and was then released by law enforcement.

This is not Miller’s first brush with the law. In 2020, footage surfaced showing the ‘Flash’ actor choking a woman at an Iceland bar. Variety reports sources close to the incident noting the altercation had turned quite serious and Miller had to be escorted away by the staff.

Miller appeared as the DC speedster in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and then ‘Justice League‘. Now, he will appear in the standalone ‘Flash’ movie, which has finished principal filming and is slated to release in theatres on June 23, 2023.

Most recently, the actor’s scene, where Flash enters the Speed Force, helped ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ win the Oscars cheer moment category, which has been newly introduced and allows fans to choose the best moment. Miller’s performance beat out pop-culturally significant moments like all three Spider-Man web-slinging in a scene from ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ and Captain America saying ‘Avengers assemble’, gathering the earth’s mightiest heroes to fight Thanos and his army in ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
