Gold prices rose modestly to a month’s high on Friday, mainly to a weaker US dollar, which has contributed to the yellow metal’s shine. Gold was on track for its third weekly increase in a row.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) increased marginally on Friday, June 3, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 51,377.00 per 10 gm, up 108 points or 0.21%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading at Rs 62,661.00 per kg, up 325 points or 0.52%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,867.63 per oz while Silver is priced at $22.33. Platinum was trading at $1,015.64 while palladium was trading at $2,053.74. 

In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 49,980 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 62,076 per kg on Thursday according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

Copper futures were trading at Rs 811.50 up 0.51% while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 650.20 and Rs 234.90 per Kg respectively on MCX. 

According to the Good Returns website, ten grams of 22-carat gold can be purchased in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata for Rs 47,600. In Chennai, the same amount of precious yellow gold costs Rs 47,750.

The 24-carat gold prices, ten grams of the precious yellow metal costs Rs 51,930 in Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi. In Chennai, the same amount of 24-carat purity is being offered for Rs 52,100.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,700 and Rs 47,800 in Pune and Lucknow, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity costs Rs 52,030 in Pune and Rs 52,100 in Lucknow.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold have hit Rs 47,600 in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kerala. The same quantity of 22-carat purity is also available in Mangalore, Bhubaneswar, and Vishakhapatnam for Rs 47,600. Ten grams of 24-carat gold costs Rs 51,930 in all of the aforesaid locations.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,700 and Rs 47,800 in Nagpur and Chandigarh, respectively. A similar amount of 24-carat purity costs Rs 52,030 in Nagpur and Rs 52,080 in Chandigarh.
