Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande won the Grammy Award 2021 for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Rain on Me’. 

The nominations in the category were BTS for ‘Dynamite’; Justin Bieber feat Quavo for ‘Intentions’; Taylor Swift feat Bon Iver for ‘Exile’; and J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny and Tainy for ‘Un Dia’

Last year, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello won the Grammy in this category for their much-loved ‘Señorita’.

This year’s grouping was one of the most diverse when looking at styles and nationalities. In addition to the American singers, the nominations had rappers, alternative bands, Latin musicians and K-Pop chartbusters.

K-Pop band BTS, which was nominated for the first time at Grammys, made history by becoming the first South Korean act to grab a nod by the Recording Academy, thanks to their single ‘Dynamite’.
