Harry Styles has won the Grammy Award 2021 in the Best Pop Solo Performance
category for their number Watermelon Sugar.

Apart from ‘Watermelon Sugar’, Styles has also been nominated under the Best Music Video category for ‘Adore You’.

The nominations in the Best Pop Solo Performance category
were Justin Bieber for ‘Yummy’, Doja Cat for ‘Say So’, Billie Eilish for ‘Everything
I Wanted’, Dua Lipa for ‘Don’t Start Now’, Harry Styles for ‘Watermelon Sugar’,
and Taylor Swift for ‘Cardigan’.

Last year, the winner in this category was Lizzo, for her
single ‘Truth Hurts’.

Grammy 2021’s nominations in this category features mostly
pop artists, with the exception of rapper Doja Cat.

Compared to last year, Grammy 2021 features a more closely fought competition, with Taylor Swift’s ‘Cardigan’ and Harry Style’s ‘Watermelon Sugar’ fighting a close battle of popularity among fans in recent months.

‘Cardigan’, from Swift’s album Folklore, was a solid hit, and might easily claim a place in the conversations around Best Pop Solo nominees.

While Billie Eilish scored big last year, ‘Everything I Wanted’ at the outset did not take up the figure, or the hype, of a potential Grammy winning number.
