A German businessman who was allegedly running a child sex ring in Thailand was discovered dead in a freezer after being mutilated by a chainsaw.
Police in Pattaya made the discovery of Hans Peter Walter Mack‘s body on Monday evening after a search of a housing project in eastern Thailand.
According to Viral Press, the body of the 62-year-old real estate agent was found when police used security footage to locate the home he was staying in, about a quarter of a mile from where his gray Mercedes-Benz was found parked.
Along with the dismembered remains, the police also reportedly found a garbage bag in the freezer. The bag contained a Makita cordless chainsaw, a charging unit, two large rolls of plastic, a pair of yellow-handled hedge clippers, and more.

According to local news reports, Mack, who was 56 at the time, was also arrested in February 2018 on suspicion of trafficking children.
According to reports, Hans Peter Walter Mack, a German expat, was arrested after it was discovered that he had followed Amornrat Kateuy, a person who was riding a motorcycle and carrying a 17-year-old female, to a residence in Nong Prue.
Police said they found Amornrat and a girl inside the house after receiving reports of underage prostitution. The Nation in Thailand reported that a German later appeared shirtless from the bedroom.
When Thai police broke into the house, they allegedly discovered a different 15-year-old girl in the bedroom who was just wearing a towel. She apparently informed police that the guy had purchased a “sexual service” from her.
Amornrat and Mack were accused of engaging in human trafficking and hiring a minor to perform sexual services, though it was not confirmed whether Mack had actually been charged or whether any legal action had taken place after their detention.
