Some of the most iconic logos in the United States have undergone hillarious makeovers, and have received approval from big brands such as Starbucks, The Washington Post, Tinder, Nascar, and Tampax. TikTok user Emily Zugay racked up millions of views with a video on September 8 in which she had redesigned the popular logos, which she joked everyone would agree were “ugly.”  Zugay, who says she graduated college with a degree in design, not only caught the attention of TikTok users, but also the companies she was poking fun at in a now-viral video.

“I don’t like anything about it,” she said of Starbucks’ famous green logo which she redesigned to two pastel stars overlapped on a purple circle, along with a misspelling of coffee. The new Starbucks logo appeared to have been made on Microsoft Paint.

Similarly, H&R Block became a circle logo and Apple‘s logo ended up as an orange square with the word “apple” written in a not-so-fancy font.

Hailed as a “comedy genius”, Zugay posted a second video that gained over 10 million views with redone logos of Target, TikTok and Nasa.

“After going through the comments, a lot of large brands reached out to me for new logos, so I said yes,” Zugay said in a September 16 video.

The Washington Post’s logo was replaced with an image of President George Washington with stars around him.

The Washington Post, Tinder, Nascar, Tampax, the Detroit Lions and even TikTok’s official accounts changed their display pictures to Zugay’s cheeky redesigns. “What have I done?” Zugay said while reacting to TikTok’s new profile picture.

Other top brands like Amazon, Disney Channel and Fenty Beauty have also posted requests for Zugay to redesign their logos.
