The doses were meant for those travelling abroad in over 31 designated hospitals but currently, these requirements do not appear to be enforced according to the foreigners who have recently received the jabs.

In the explainer video uploaded on the YouTube channel Elisa & Ivan Adventure, Quintana started by explaining how the official website works. Once you land on the website, Quintana says that the page presents a list of participating hospitals with the addresses.

After which he asks the applicant to click on the link under the hospital of choice which would be titled “appointment URL”. This page will pop a warning for the applicant to postpone taking the vaccine if they have been administered with another vaccine within the past 14 to 28 days.

Fees, dates and time when the vaccine can be taken will be listed in a table on the next page. He comments that the interface with each hospital will vary however the applicant should look for the term ‘register’ in Chinese (掛號).

The unavailable time slots will appear in red however the time frame shown in black is available for booking. He further instructs the applicant to click on the available slot and to either scroll to the bottom of the page or wait to be redirected to a new page.

If the individual applying is a foreigner, then they will need to input their ARC OR NHI card number following which they need to enter the pin or verification number displayed.
