BBC presenter Huw Edwards went viral on Twitter after an explicit Snapchat video of him got leaked online.

The video allegedly showed his buttocks was leaked, after which the presenter seems to have deleted his Instagram account. When one clicks on his handle, a blank page appears with the message, “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.”

The video apparently showed Edwards Facetiming with someone. However, a number of unconfirmed reports suggested that the video, in question, was AI generated.

This is not the first time that Edwards has found himself in a bit of a controversy when it comes to social media. Twitter users have shared anecdotes about exchanging direct messages (DMs) with the BBC presenter.

Edwards began his career as a news trainee at the BBC in 1984. Over the years, he held various positions and presented numerous news programs. Notably, he served as the Parliamentary Correspondent for BBC Wales and presented the BBC Six O’Clock News from 1994 to January 2003. In January 2003, he took on the role of main presenter for the Ten O’Clock News on BBC One, solidifying his position as a prominent face of BBC News.

Edwards is married to Vicky Flind, a television producer known for her work on shows such as This Week and Peston.

They reside in Dulwich, London, and share a strong bond as a couple. Edwards and Flind have built a life together, raising five children. Their relationship is a testament to their commitment to both their family and respective careers.
