The Ferrari Purosangue, the Italian auto giants’ first SUV, has begun production. In leaked photographs, the SUV – which is expected to be a five-door model with four seats and a coupe-like shape – has been revealed ahead of its anticipated arrival next year.

Ferrari is putting a lot of faith in Purosangue to break into the luxury SUV sector, which is seen as a critical area for the Italian company to expand its sales.

The Purosangue SUV is expected to be produced at a rate of 10,000 units per year by Ferrari. When it is released, it will compete against the Aston Martin DBX, Porsche Cayenne, and Lamborghini Urus.

In 2023, the Ferrari Purosangue SUV will be unveiled for the first time. It has already been spotted in camouflage on several occasions. The SUV’s front face and back part are visible in the leaked photographs.

The design of the Ferrari Purosangue does not resemble that of a typical SUV at first glance. The SUV appears to be shorter than other versions because it sits lower, more like a sports car. The Purosangue SUV’s front end is reminiscent of the Ferrari Roma, with which it shares a platform.

A distinctively styled fender can be seen on the SUV’s lower portion. The huge wheel arches are especially noticeable. The Purosangue SUV’s rear design appears to be more comparable to that of the 296 GTB.

Ferrari is expected to offer the Purosangue SUV with a hybrid powertrain that has a front-mounted internal combustion engine and a rear-mounted electric motor. The Purosangue SUV will be powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo petrol engine, according to reports. The Roma and F8 Tributo both share the same engine. All-wheel drive and dual-clutch automatic transmission are also probable for the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue SUV.
