In a T mobile commercial that aired during Super Bowl 2021,
country singer Blake Shelton and ‘No Doub’t lead vocalist Gwen Stefani’s unlikely
relationship was portrayed in a fun light,  according to various media reports.

The clip shows Stefani describing her ideal partner to fellow
Voice judge Adam Levine, who, due to connection issues, gets her words twisted
and the essence of the message distorted, deciding that Shelton is the man to
go with in the situation.

In the hilarious snippet, Stefani is seen telling Levine
that she is ‘sick of LA guys’, adding that she would like to be with ‘someone
completely different, maybe from another country’, who would remain ‘unthreatened
by a strong, confident woman’.

The ‘Maroon 5’ lead singer, however, gets the idea that Stefani
would prefer someone ‘completely country, uncultured, and threatened by a
strong, confident woman’, immediately ringing bells in his mind as Shelton zooms by with a plate full of ‘wings and nachos’, extremely excited about it at the same time.

Significantly, at the same time it would be quite evident that the two musicians
did not start from similar roots, as Shelton, a Country musician, would
predictably be cut from a different cloth from Stefani, whose primary musical qualities
include a mixture of Jamaican musical genre Ska and rock.

The duo, however, are currently together, in a contrast to
all predictions of them not being able to hit it off.

Shelton, Stefani and Levine – all three have so far been
judges of American singing competition ‘The Voice’ at some point of time or the
other.
