A bomb went off at the Anarkali market in Lahore, Pakistan, leaving three dead and around 26 injured, as per reports. The powerful blast damaged several shops too, even as the victims were rushed to the hospital. Recently formed terrorist group Baloch Nationalist Army (BNA) has claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they wished to target employees working in Habib Bank. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the bombing, while urging local authorities to ensure that all victims receive the best medical care possible. Anarkali market has been shut down, and Counter-Terrorism Department and Bomb Disposal Squad arrived at the scene to examine the nature of the blast.
