Ukrainians on Sunday absorbed continuing Russian bombardment on cities across the country, with some attending church services amid the deadly repercussions from the 11-day-old conflict.

According to a Ukrainian presidential adviser, the largest round of missile strikes began as the sun set, with severe shelling on the outskirts of Kyiv but also hitting Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv.
